Before I talk about the Korean Homeless Singer, I should first explain what "clicky clicky" is. Derived from the internet verb phrase "Click Here", this is a term I use to represent the act of clicking through videos on youtube based off of the thumbnails of the videos. Through the act of clicky clicky one could have started their normal YouTube session while watching Pearl Jam music videos but somehow end up watching videos of the voluptuous Ladies of Spanish Network Television. (Just ran a quick clicky clicky test for Peal Jam and ended up here, http://youtu.be/zuwMqfNdQ6g Not as crazy of a deviation as I explained but hopefully you get my meaning)
Anyways, so today's Clicky Clicky found me the following video. At first as I was watching it, I was like man this build up is so lame. But then I got to the moment I was waiting for from the start of the video and I was like WTF!? Not bad, not bad at all. So I thought I'd share.
So far the web video thing is going along ok. Slow pace. Hopefully though as more and more people get interested in helping out. The more fun it will become and the more frequent posting will occur.
I can't wait to get the Cyberlink program. I feel like it can't come any sooner.
Hopefully it will be exactly what I need right now to get the type of video edits that I'm looking for. Nothing fancy. Nothing HD crazy. Just good enough to get the editing I need.
So after looking over several reviews I finally settled on getting Powerdirector 10. I know there are bigger and better programs out there. But I'm a super amateur, and need to start somewhere. I'm really looking forward to using it. Hopefully its as user-friendly as they say it is.
I have a good number of projects I want to get off the ground and hopefully this will get me in the air.
Just a few little changes. Got rid of any images that would probably fail a SOPA test.
Got a few ideas percolating for the web video series I want to do. As well as some home movie ideas. Gotta get things moving. Start scheduling things and planning things.
Alright! Finally got some videos uploaded. One of many!
This first Episode of the Amontillado Group is about online dating. It's about a 30 minute conversation. Figure this is a good amount of time for these. Hopefully these videos aren't that bad; it's a learning experience right? Gotta start somewhere.
Amontillado Group, for those that do not know, is simply the name that Valmonuni and I came up with to represent ourselves. There's a bit of back story behind the name, but that's not too important.
So yeah, hopefully this will turn into an ongoing thing. And maybe just maybe people will like it and watch more of it.
So Valmonuni and I recorded 100 minutes of footage last night. This was done in ten 10-minute segments. Was really excited to encode them this morning and start editing them. However when I went to encode them I found out that none of Val's audio was recorded. So really, all I have is about 30 minutes of me talking and 70 minutes of me listening.
UGH
So sad. So sad to lose so much footage to such a stupid thing. I guess from now on there has to be a mic check and footage check throughout the recording.
MAN sucks sooo much. I mean yeah it was a 100 minutes of footage that may or may not have been good. And who knows if any of it would have been entertaining enough to put online, but still.... ugh 100 minutes. dammit!
